Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Tate County Board of Supervisors at the Tate County Administrator’s office, 910 E. F. Hale Drive, Senatobia, Mississippi 38668 until 11:00 A.M., Local Time, April 29th, 2022 and thereafter publicly opened and read aloud for: TATE COUNTY COURTHOUSE PARKING LOT RECONSTRUCTION
TATE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI The scope of work for this project includes the reconstruction of the Tate County Courthouse Parking Lot and French’s Alley, as well as the construction of two new parking lots along French’s Alley and the installation of conduit, wire, and new light poles. Contract time is 100 Working Days. Contractor shall commence work on or before a date to be stipulated in the Notice to Proceed. Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Contract Documents.

Project Plans and Contract Documents may be examined at Elliott & Britt Engineering, P.A., 823 North Lamar Blvd./P.O. Box 308, Oxford, Mississippi, 38655. Bid documents are being made available via original paper copy or electronically. Planholders are required to log-in or register for an account at www.elliottbrittplans.com to view and order Bid documents. All planholders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents are non-refundable and must be

The contract will be awarded to the lowest and/or best bid from a responsive responsible and qualified Bidder. Should no award be made within forty-five (45) calendar days after opening of proposals, all proposals may be rejected and all proposal guaranties returned, unless the lowest responsive responsible qualified bidder, at the request of the Tate County Board of Supervisors agrees in writing to a longer delay. Bid bond, signed or countersigned by a Licensed Mississippi Agent, or Mississippi Non-Resident Agent licensed to do business in the State of Mississippi, with Power of Attorney attached, or Cashier’s check or Certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to Tate County, must accompany each proposal.

Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied as a stripped bid will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposal will not be considered in making the award. The Tate County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of the Tate County Board of Supervisors. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid, and such proposals may not be
considered in making the award. The Tate County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all bids if considered not in the best interest of the Tate County Board of Supervisors.
