Federal Aid Project No. STP-9420-00(001)LPA 107974-701000 The City of Oxford, Lafayette County, Mississippi, will receive bids for Bramlett Boulevard Sidewalk Improvements for a total project length of 0.35 miles, Federal Aid Project No. STP- 9420-00(001)LPA 107974-701000 no later than 11:00 AM Local Time, September 29, 2020, in
Oxford City Hall, at 107 Courthouse Square in Oxford, Mississippi, 38665. All bids so received will
be publicly opened and read aloud.
The work shall consist essentially of the following items: Adding sidewalks where none currently exist on the RT side of Bramlett Boulevard from University Avenue to Jefferson Avenue. Reconstruction of A.D.A. ramps at the intersections. Installation of pedestrian pushbutton poles. All other related items of work required to complete the project as shown and specified in the Contract Documents.
The above general outline of features of the work does not in any way limit the responsibility of
the Contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials required
by the specifications and the drawings referred to therein.

The attention of bidders is directed to the Contract Provisions governing selection and employment of labor. Minimum wage rates for Federal-Aid projects have been predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and are subject to Public Law 87-581 Work Hours Act of 1962, as set forth in the Contract Provisions.
